We have added some exciting new seasonal flavours to the menu for the cooler months. One of the stand-outs is the Beef Short Rib Pie, made with carrots, kale, mushrooms and parsnip cream. It’s exceptional. As is the new South Island Wild Venison Loin, served with cinnamon roasted cabbage, Chioggia beetroot and a black garlic puree.

Josh Emett and executive chef Cobus Klopper have been tinkering with High Tea, adding some new flavours to our 3-tier weekend High Tea. These additions are joined by new dessert treats including Florentine sable slice and mini rhubarb cheesecakes.
Veuve Cliquot is the perfect accompaniment to Ostro's High Tea and it's also an ingredient in some of the new desserts - try the champagne & lychee marshmallow. Sublime.
